By accessing or using VerifiedStores ("the Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
VerifiedStores provides:
- A platform for ecommerce store owners to verify and showcase their revenue
- Revenue verification via Shopify/Stripe API integration
- A public leaderboard displaying verified stores and metrics
- Advertising opportunities for businesses
3. Eligibility
To use VerifiedStores, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Own or operate the ecommerce store you're submitting
- Have legal authority to connect API credentials and share revenue data
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4. User Responsibilities
As a user, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information: All submitted data must be truthful and accurate
- Only submit stores you own: You must have authorization to submit the store
- Keep your account secure: Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Use the platform responsibly: Do not abuse, spam, or attempt to manipulate the Service
- Respect intellectual property: Do not infringe on others' copyrights or trademarks
5. Verification Process
5.1 How It Works
- We verify revenue via Shopify/Stripe API with your authorization
- API credentials are encrypted and deleted immediately after verification
- We pull revenue data from the last 30 days for initial verification
- Data is updated periodically to reflect current performance
5.2 Right to Reject
We reserve the right to:
- Reject any store submission without explanation
- Remove stores that violate these terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts for fraudulent activity
5.3 Data Integrity
All revenue data must be genuine. Submitting fake, manipulated, or fraudulent data is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
6. Public Display and Privacy
- Verified stores and their revenue data appear on our public leaderboard
- You control visibility settings (store name, owner info, etc.)
- You can request removal of your listing at any time
- Once displayed publicly, data may be cached or archived by third parties

7. Advertising
7.1 Advertiser Terms
- Advertisers must comply with our content guidelines
- Ads must not contain offensive, illegal, or misleading content
- We reserve the right to reject or remove any advertisement
- Subscriptions are billed monthly at $1,499/month
7.2 Refund Policy
Advertising subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your ad will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
7.3 Ad Performance
We do not guarantee any specific results, clicks, or conversions from advertising on VerifiedStores. Performance varies based on multiple factors.
8. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT:
- Submit false, fake, or manipulated revenue data
- Impersonate other stores or individuals
- Attempt to manipulate leaderboard rankings
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Send spam or unsolicited messages
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Scrape data from the platform without permission
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Platform Ownership
VerifiedStores and all related trademarks, logos, and intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use them without permission.
9.2 User Content
You retain ownership of your store data, descriptions, and logos. By submitting content, you grant us a license to display and use it on the platform.
9.3 Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on VerifiedStores infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@verifiedstores.com.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 "As Is" Service
VerifiedStores is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we verify revenue through official APIs, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Data may be outdated or contain errors.
10.3 Not Financial Advice
Information on VerifiedStores is for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial or investment advice.
10.4 Third-Party Content
We are not responsible for content submitted by users or provided by third-party services (Shopify, Stripe, etc.).
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not liable for loss of revenue, profits, data, or business opportunities
- We are not liable for data breaches or security incidents beyond our reasonable control
- Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (whichever is greater)
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VerifiedStores from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may delete your store listing and account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
13.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms of Service
- You submit fraudulent or false information
- Your account is inactive for an extended period
- Required by law or legal process
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your store listing will be removed, and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Morocco.
15. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to attempt an amicable resolution. If we cannot resolve the dispute, you agree to binding arbitration or mediation before pursuing litigation.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
